There’s a lot going on behind the scenes at Creme Brew Lait.
- Paint is almost finished. All utilities are in and we’ve passed the first round of inspection. We are waiting on electricity in order to move equipment into the building.
- The driveway has been packed for asphalt, and the curbs have all been poured. Paving is scheduled to begin this tuesday.
- The trees and shrubs for our property have been ordered and should be planted in a couple of weeks. However, we will wait to plant until the property has been paved and sidewalks have been poured. We are still in the process of choosing between sod or seed as a landscape cover.
- After equipment has been installed, we will just need shelves, lockers, and other interior finishes.
We have recently been approved for an SBA loan. We should be closing on the loan in two weeks. This will greatly expand opportunities for Creme Brew Lait in the long term – it will give Creme Brew Lait more depth and staying power. However, the loan could slow our progress slightly due to paperwork and increasing requirements for documentation.
We will begin training employees after the interior has been finished. We are very excited for the building progress that has been made so far!
